Bill of Lading (abbreviated to B/L) is one of the MOST important documents required in the whole shipping and freight chain. The bill of lading works as a receipt of goods, a contract between shipper and carrier and a document of title. The bill of lading should be contains shipper’ and consignee’s details, name of loading and unloading ports, name of vessel and voyage, dates of departure, description of goods with number of packages and type of packaging, weight and volume of goods, shipping marks, issued place and date etc.
An air waybill (AWB) or air consignment note is a receipt issued by an international airline for goods and an evidence of the contract of carriage, but it is not a document of title to the goods. Hence, the air waybill is non-negotiable.
FCL is means full container load which refers to a single shipment that has exclusive use of a container. LCL equals less than container loads which means the shipment does not fill the entire space of one container, need to few shipment to combined into one container to send to different consignee.
The minimum charge weight we recommended 45-100kgs depends on different destination airport, if less than 45kgs we suggested sending by international courier.
Dimensional weight, also known as volumetric weight which uses an estimated weight that is calculated from the length, width and height of a package (the formula is L x W x H cm/6000).
